Brice Asnar

 Raised in Marseille (France), Brice began his training in his native town at the École nationale supérieure de danse de Marseille Roland Petit.

He later furthered his studies at the Royal Ballet Upper school in London.

Upon graduating at the Royal ballet school, Brice was offered an apprenticeship with the Northern Ballet, in Leeds (England).

After a year, he moved back to London to dance with the English National Ballet from 2009 to 2011, where he had the opportunity to perform all of the classical ballets.

In 2011, Brice joined the Staatsballett Karlsruhe in Germany where he performed classical ballet roles like Blue bird (sleeping beauty), Pas de six (Giselle), Pas de quatre (Swan lake) & created neo classical & contemporary roles such as Orpheus, Siegfried, In Den Winden Im Nicht to mention a few.

In 2015, Brice was invited to join Ballett Am Rhein in Düsseldorf as a soloist, under the direction of Martin Schläpfer.

As a member of the company, Brice danced & originated many roles.

He has danced the works of George Balanchine, William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Frederick Ashton, Ohad Naharin, Jerome Robbins, Kenneth Macmillan, Marco Goecke, Martin Schläpfer, Hans van Manen, sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Christopher Wheeldon, Anthony Dowell, Paul Taylor, Peter Wright, Nils Christie, Kurt Joos, August Bournonville and Heinz spoerli.

Brice has taught workshops, summer intensives and set works throughout Europe.

He was also awarded the Ursula Moreton choreographic Award in 2007, in London and has since choreographed works in Europe. One of which, “As it Leaves...” was invited to perform in the 2019 Salzburg Ballet Gala. “
