Sample Day
Each day our dancers will train with various leaders in our industry to push themselves to new levels. A sample day would look like this:
Sample Day Schedule:
9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Conditioning and Ballet With Brice Asnar
10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Improvisational Work with Jon Bond of Nederlands Dans Theater
12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Lunch
12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Jazz with Madeline Mihacevich of World of Dance
2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Contemporary with Alexa Anderson of SYTYCD and Hollywood Vibe
Growth
This is a thrilling week filled with exciting challenges and innovative techniques, intended to push you to the next level. This experience allows the dancers to work with the best in the industry, to make connections and to get a taste of professional company classes. The amount of progress I see in one day is exceptional, by the end of the week, it is monumental.
Build, Create, Explore
Dancers need to be exposed to additional textures in dance, to a different delivery on a character, to innovative techniques, and to seasoned professional dancers who have been where they want to go!!!
I love that our instructors sit down and talk to our dancers!!! They form connections, they remember their dancers year after year, because each dancer means something to them!!! This is an intense intensive, and our faculty is incredibly invested in their students. Our faculty hand’s out bracelets to dancers who stand out in a positive way, whether it be completing a combination, helping out someone who doesn’t understand a move, or being an incredible performer!!! ADC is all about positivity and building confidence!!!
